The challenge
Building an independent brand from the inside out
When a specific pharmaceutical department of a large global company was becoming an independent entity, they needed to define a fresh employee positioning and value proposition.
Partnering with Havas People, we were tasked with creating an EVP that would resonate with current staff during the transition and attract prospective employees to the new brand.
Project context
- Industry Pharmaceutical
- Solution Employee research
- Partner Havas People
- Participants 200 employees across markets
- Methods Exploration, validation, concept evaluation
The approach
A three-phase global engagement strategy
We developed an agile and scalable community solution involving 200 employees across key global markets, structured into three distinct weekly phases.
Phase 1: Exploration
We captured the baseline values, aspirations, and motivations of employees across different business units.
Phase 2: Validation
We used our platform's concept-evaluation tools to test potential EVP routes and pillars, gathering interactive feedback on which concepts resonated most.
Phase 3: Storytelling
We focused on gathering authentic proof points and personal narratives from staff to bring the key values to life.
The result
Aligning future positioning with employee values
This interactive process delivered a flexible learning journey that helped align the future positioning of the independent company with the genuine motivations of its workforce, resulting in an EVP grounded in reality and ensuring a seamless cultural transition into the new brand phase.
